Homecoming brings alumni, parents, and family back to Lynchburg for a full weekend on campus. Our four-bedroom house gives groups a shared place to start the day, gather between events, and come back to after the game. It sleeps up to 14 guests, a mix of adults and kids, with three bedrooms on the main floor and one in the finished basement, a dining table that seats 14, a full kitchen, a fenced backyard, and driveway parking for four or more cars. We are 0.9 miles from Liberty's campus, about a 4-minute drive, which can make a busy weekend feel more manageable.
Homecoming 2026 Dates and Check-In
Liberty University Homecoming 2026 runs from Friday, October 30, through Sunday, November 1. Check-in is at the Champion Center from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Guests check in to receive a Homecoming badge. Keep it with you: the badge is needed for museum visits and for discounts or entry to some events. Events are open to current students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and family, though Liberty alumni must register for Homecoming weekend to receive the discounts and campus facility access.
The Weekend Schedule at a Glance
Friday begins with Convocation at 10:30 a.m. in the Vines Center. Men's Soccer faces VMI at 3 p.m. at Osborne Stadium, followed by Hockey against Virginia Tech at 7 p.m. at LaHaye Ice Center. Family Movie Night starts at 8 p.m. in the Vines Center. With activities at different campus locations and times, it helps to leave room for a return to the house before heading out again.
Saturday starts with Alumni Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the Champion Center. The Parade begins at 12:30 p.m. on University Boulevard. From 1 to 3 p.m., the Alumni Tailgate is at the outdoor football practice field, while Flames Fan Fest is at the indoor football practice field. Flames Football plays FIU at 3:30 p.m. at Williams Stadium. Sunday offers church services at Thomas Road Baptist Church at 9:15 and 11 a.m.
Game Day Logistics
Liberty runs buses Friday through Sunday from the North Campus Parking Garage. For Saturday, check Liberty's football parking map before leaving for campus. Williams Stadium gates open 90 minutes before the 3:30 p.m. kickoff, and the game is a clear bag event. Registered alumni can use their registration code for discounted football tickets. For the Alumni Tailgate, every person in the group needs a football ticket and must show a Homecoming badge to receive food.
Homecoming is busy by design. The Liberty Champion reported on November 10, 2025 that Homecoming 2025 was Liberty's highest-attended Homecoming weekend, with more than 12,000 registered guests. Planning your group around check-in, tickets, badges, parking, and the game can leave more time for the people you came to see.
